Fibromyalgia Action UK

With wellness being at the core focus of everything we do, we are delighted to have partnered with Fibromyalgia Action UK as our official charity, aiming to raise awareness and much needed funds to help improve the lives of those living with the condition.

Fibromyalgia is a long-term condition that causes persistent pain all over the body. As well as widespread pain, other symptoms will include but are not limited to fatigue and non-refreshing sleep, and brain or fibro fog.

Although there is currently no cure for fibromyalgia, there are treatments to help relieve some of the symptoms and make the condition easier to live with. Hydrotherapy and relaxing in warm water are a great way for those suffering with the condition to find some potential respite.

As the world’s fastest growing hot tub manufacturer, supplying premium products with a purpose of ‘Improving wellbeing for all’, we are delighted to be supporting a very worthy cause as well as work alongside an organisation that has a clear synergy with our mission.

Fundraising for Fibromyalgia Action UK

We will be taking part in various fundraising activities and events in support of Fibromyalgia Action UK. In August 2021, 39 team members took part in Tough Mudder Yorkshire, a gruelling 10 mile course with a total of 25 obstacles, raising £2,905.

On 28 August, a team of 22 took part on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. We managed to raise £820 for our charity. Rob Carlin, Managing Director at Superior Wellness said: “I am incredibly proud of everyone who took part; helping each other along the way as well as conquering fears and challenges. It was very challenging mentally and physically.

We previously held a bake sale at Superior Wellness HQ to raise money for our official charity partner Fibromyalgia Action UK.

The team brought in their homemade treats, we raised £77.00. Well done team!

Fibromyalgia Action UK exists to increase awareness of the condition throughout the UK and elsewhere, as well as improve the awareness of, and access to treatments for fibromyalgia.
