We’re excited to invite applications from within the business for the role of Warehouse Manager. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing our busy warehouse’s day-to-day operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of receiving, storing, and distributing products efficiently and safely, with a strong focus on accuracy and organisation.
In this key role, you’ll lead the warehouse team, optimise processes, and contribute to the broader supply chain strategy. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a hands-on approach to driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns
- Develop and maintain warehouse policies, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with the Inventory Manager on stock levels, regular stock takes, and discrepancy resolution
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor inventory and improve workflows
- Lead, train, mentor, and manage warehouse staff, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions
- Optimise warehouse space usage and maintain a safe, organised working environment
- Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and internal departments to co-ordinate stock movements
- Oversee maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment and systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and internal policies
- Manage warehouse budget including labour, equipment, and facilities costs
- Track KPIs and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and performance
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, logistics, and supply chain best practices
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
- Forklift licence or machinery operation experience is advantageous
