This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the enthusiastic students from Ashgate Croft School to our Superior Wellness headquarters. As part of the Made in Chesterfield initiative, which seeks to address the skills gap in our community, this visit was crafted to spark interest in the fields of manufacturing, engineering, and construction among young people. We aimed to inspire the next generation by showcasing the exciting opportunities these careers can offer.
Students were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the meticulous process involved in creating our premium hot tub products. They discovered how our commitment to health and well-being drives every aspect of our operations. Additionally, they learned about the diverse and exciting career paths available in our industry, gaining insights into how they can contribute to innovation and wellness in the future.
The visit commenced with an engaging introduction from Carol and Dawn from our HR team, who provided valuable insights into the range of career opportunities available at Superior Wellness, including exciting apprenticeship programmes. Their presentation set the stage for deeper exploration within the company, inspiring students to consider the diverse pathways that could lead to fulfilling careers in our industry.
Students had the opportunity to explore various departments, including the warehouse, quality control, and the showroom, each offering unique insights into our operations. The showroom, in particular, stood out as a highlight of the visit. Students were captivated by the state-of-the-art hot tub jets and vibrant lighting features, eagerly engaging with the products and asking insightful questions. Their enthusiasm was truly contagious, creating an atmosphere of curiosity and excitement as they imagined the possibilities for their future careers in the industry. It was heart-warming to witness their genuine interest and enthusiasm up close!
