Celebrating 12 years
The world’s fastest growing hot tub manufacturer Superior Wellness celebrates its 12-year anniversary on 28 April 2023.
It’s been two years since the company celebrated its 10-year milestone which coincided with the move into the current 130,000 square foot warehouse, distribution centre, office and showroom.
During the last two years, they opened their brand-new showroom, invested in their infrastructure, strengthened their brand portfolio, raised money for their official charity partner, won several awards and so much more. Highlights included:
Showroom Launch
On Wednesday 2 March 2022 Superior Wellness officially launched its brand-new showroom and training facility to the global partner network and suppliers. In total, over 150 partners, suppliers and team members attended the official showroom opening. The new purpose-built Superior Wellness showroom features over 40 award-winning hot tubs, one swim spa, a wet testing area and so much more. The space has been utilised throughout the year for learning and development, with a number of training sessions that partners have attended.
Partner Conference
Superior Wellness has held two Annual Partner Conferences’’ at the Casa Hotel in Chesterfield. Team building activities have taken place including the Crystal Maze Experience and a ‘Haka’ workshop.
Charity Success
The Superior Wellness team have taken part in two charity events to raise money for their national charity partner Fibromyalgia Action UK, who are fighting for freedom from Fibromyalgia. Tough Mudder in August 2021 and the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 2022.
Marketing Studio and Location Shoots
Throughout 2022, the marketing team have produced a large amount of high-quality marketing material for our partners to use. They travelled to some stunning locations all over the UK to attend a number of location shoots. They have also been busy in the brand-new state of the art marketing studio producing fantastic video and photo content.
Trade Show success
The past two years have been very successful at trade shows for Superior Wellness. The sales team have exhibited at The Piscina and Wellness Show in Lyon and Barcelona, PSP Expo in Vegas and Dallas, Aqua Live in Charlotte, USA, Interbad in Germany, the Pool and Spa show in Atlantic City and twice at Spatex, UK.
The new Platinum Spas deluxe range was launched at this year’s Spatex along with Hekla Saunas, Chill Tubs and Hydralyft.
Superior Wellness launches AquaSolus
In November 2022 we launched the brand new AquaSolus range at the PSP Expo in Vegas. The new AquaSolus product range offers six new hot tubs. The range encompasses various well sculptured models, from all seater models to models with one lounger. With AquaSolus, you can have confidence in the components used. We are proud to partner with industry leading suppliers to bring you the highest quality hot tubs with the best hydrotherapy experience. All AquaSolus hot tubs are built around an impressive tubular stainless-steel framework, due to its robustness we are proud to give a lifetime warranty on its integrity.
Award Winning
In both December 2021 and 2022, we were lucky to round off another incredible year for Superior Wellness with numerous award wins at the prestigious 2022 UK Pool & Spa Awards. Awards include International Team of the Year, with the Superior Wellness Logistics team winning, Marketing Initiative of the Year, UK Team of the Year, and the Special Achievement Award for Rob Carlin.
Sustainability
Sustainability is high on the agenda. In 2022, Superior Wellness’ sustainability initiative was to replace all bulbs with LEDs. This will save 67% in energy costs which have increased significantly recently. Based on the rooms being occupied 60% of the day the Annual Carbon Emissions saved (CO2 (kg) will be 99304.3. Carbon emission calculations are based on the Carbon Trusts recommendations 0.520kg/CO2 /Kwh of electricity produced. All running costs are based upon average total circuit wattages of leading UK brands of control gear.
The highlights above are just a few from the past two years.
