Superior Wellness supports Fibromyalgia Action UK through charity cake sale

As official partners of Fibromyalgia Action UK, Superior Wellness is proud to have supported the charity through raising awareness and much needed funds during the national week (5 September – 12 September 2021).

During Fibromyalgia Awareness Week, the team at Superior Wellness organised a cake sale to raise funds, as well as promoting the charity all week to mark the occasion and raise awareness with our team, customers and partners.

This support comes in addition to setting up a dedicated charity team who will be responsible for organising fundraising events throughout the year in support of the charity.

The cake sale took place at the Superior Wellness headquarters, based in Chesterfield, on Friday 10 September 2021. The team put their baking skills to the test with homemade contributions including items such as, brownies, cheesecake, shortbread biscuits, cakes and so much more!

As a team, we asked for a £1 donation per item, raising over £74 in total.

Sarah Elphick, Head of Marketing said: “As Fibromyalgia Action UK’s official charity partner, we knew it was important to mark and support the national week from 5 September through to 12 September. As a team, we decided it would be a fantastic idea to hold a charity cake sale, as well as raise awareness across our social media platforms.

“The cake sale was a real team effort and with the help of everyone’s baking skills, we raised over £74 for the charity.”
