Rob Carlin

Managing Director

Rob has been a driving force in the wellness industry since 2011, after starting the company in his bedroom. With his exemplary leadership and innovative vision, he has propelled Superior Wellness to become one of the leading hot tub companies in the world whilst offering exceptional service to our customers and building the culture of the team.

Gareth Ward

Global Sales Director

Gareth started working in the delivery team at Superior Spas in 2011 before taking time out to go travelling.  He returned in 2014 and worked in retail sales.  Gareth project managed building the brand Platinum Spas in 2016 and became Sales Director in 2017.  He has worked in a wide range of departments at Superior Wellness and plays a key role in the company’s culture.

James Orton

Finance Director

James joined in July 2023 with over 20 years’ experience across a broad range of sectors, he brings a wealth of experience to the role. James was previously CFO of Nuvias UC Limited a specialist IT Distributor operating across Europe. As the Finance Director, James will play a pivotal role in shaping Superior Wellness’ financial strategy and driving sustainable growth. He will oversee all financial operations working closely with the Senior Management Team to support the company’s expansion plans and long-term vision.

Mathew Day

Operations Director

Mat joined the team in January 2023 as our Operations Director and brings over 15 years of Operational knowledge and experience. Mat started his journey in the 3PL world working for blue chip companies such as Clipper Logistics, Kuehne + Nagel and Europa Worldwide in which he has held numerous Management positions and joins us from Kingfisher Lighting in which he was their Head of Operations for 4 and a half years. As Operations Director, Mat will look after the Operational side of the business driving processes and efficiencies whilst supporting the Senior Management Team in the ongoing strategic growth plans.

Carol Smith

Head of HR

Carol joined Superior Wellness in January 2020; her background is a recruitment consultant as well as having extensive HR management experience. Carol’s role is to recruit and retain the best talent to assist the company through growth and transformation. Carol is also embedding and growing our company core values plus improving team engagement.

Sarah Watkins

Head of Marketing

Sarah joined Superior Wellness in July 2020 from Forest Holidays where she was Head of Marketing and Sales.  Sarah has extensive experience in all areas of marketing including brand, direct marketing, loyalty, PR, social media, email marketing, customer research and ecommerce.  Sarah’s role is to lead the marketing and brand strategy; to help transform and grow the business.

Nick Bell

Finance Controller

Nick joined in the summer of 2022 having always worked in finance since graduating from university and returning from his travels back in 2003.
After completing his accountancy exams whilst working at an importer in Manchester, he’s held senior finance leadership roles across a range of sectors in both privately owned & large corporations.

Alex Wragg

After Sales Manager

Alex joined the team in April 2024 as our After Sales Manager and brings 9 years of experience within customer service and after sales. Previously, Alex worked at Euramax Solutions Limited, which is based within the manufacturing industry as the Customer Service and Engineering Manager. As the After Sales Manager, Alex will play a key part in supporting the After Sales Team, and finding the best solutions for our customers and dealers.

Luke Shiels

Logistics Manager

Luke joined in 2013, initially working as part of the delivery team. Eager to be a key part of the growth and future of the business, Luke soon progressed in his role to Logistics Manager. Luke is responsible for managing our Logistics team. His key focus is to strategically coordinate customer deliveries across the UK, USA and Europe, manage the import and export of goods and containers and oversee stock levels through our bespoke CRM system.

Jamie Smith

General Sales Manager

Jamie was involved in the start-up of Superior Spas and joined full time in 2017. He previously formed and operated an established business and has extensive experience in sales and customer service. Jamie’s current role is leading the UK sales team including the retail division.

Graham Message

Business Development Manager

Graham joined the Superior team in 2019 to help manage and develop our partner networks throughout the UK. As an industry veteran with over 20 years’ experience, Graham brings extensive knowledge of the industry along with many years’ experience of developing brand networks and building better relationships with partners.
